Mr. Sargent has been practicing law in Upstate New York for more than thirty years, and throughout that time, has concentrated his practice on all facets of residential and commercial real estate, to include: property litigation, negotiating, drafting, reviewing and approval of contracts, representation at closings, and acting as liaison with the community with regard to zoning and environmental issues or any local issues that may impact a project. Mr. Sargent was admitted to the New York Bar in 1967; District of Columbia in 1968; U.S. Supreme Court in 1974; and U.S. District Court for the Northern District of New York in 1975. He is a graduate of Hamilton College (B.A., 1964) and Syracuse University College of Law (J.D., 1967). Mr. Sargent served in the United States Marine Corps. from 1968 through 1971 as an Officer and in the Judge Advocate Generals Corps. Mr. Sargent's professional affiliations include the Onondaga County, New York State, and American Bar Associations. |
